Willkie represented InterPositive, a filmmaking technology company, and its founder and CEO Ben Affleck in the sale of the company to Netflix, Inc.
On March 5, Netflix announced its acquisition of InterPositive, which develops AI-powered tools built by and for filmmakers. The deal brings the entire InterPositive team to Netflix, with Affleck joining as senior advisor.
The Willkie team was led by partners Andrew Kramer, Steve Hurdle and Heather Weigel and included associates Steve Ahn, Mackenzie Storm, Sophia Bordofsky and Kathryn Sunada.
