Willkie has been shortlisted for eight awards at the upcoming Chambers Diversity & Inclusion Awards: USA 2019, which will be held on June 6 in San Francisco. The firm and several attorneys individually were named to the shortlist for the following awards:

  • Pro Bono Program of the Year – Willkie

  • Outstanding D&I Program – Willkie

  • Gender Diversity Lawyer of the Year – Elizabeth Bower

  • Pro Bono Lawyer of the Year – Richard Mancino

  • LGBT+ Equality Lawyer of the Year – Wesley Powell

  • Minority Lawyer of the Year - Kim Walker

  • Future Leader-Gender Diversity – Jocelyn Sher

  • Future Leader-LGBT+ Equality – Kyle Mathews

Additionally, Willkie clients Comcast and Prudential were each shortlisted for “Outstanding Company for Furthering Diversity and Inclusion,” as a result of Willkie’s nominations.

Chambers highlights that its Diversity and Inclusion program “aims to promote the advancement of inclusion across the global legal profession through research, training, workshops, forums and awards,” and that the “awards represent the culmination of our research and also celebrate those firms and individuals who are furthering the advancement of diversity and inclusion in the US.”
