Shuman Zhou is an associate in the Corporate & Financial Services Department. Shuman represents private equity sponsors, their portfolio companies, and strategic acquirers and sellers in complex domestic and cross-border transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, minority and majority investments, joint ventures, carve-outs, recapitalizations, add-on acquisitions, and divestitures.
Shuman’s pro bono practice includes advising nonprofit organizations on corporate governance matters.
Prior to starting with Willkie, Shuman completed an in-house legal fellowship at Wabtec Corporation, a leading global provider of equipment, systems, digital solutions, and value-added service to the transportation industry.
