Giovanni L. Smedley is a partner in the Asset Management Department in New York. Giovanni’s practice focuses on matters relating to private investment funds across various asset classes and geographic areas. He has extensive experience in advising private fund managers on all aspects of the structuring and formation of domestic and international investment funds, managed accounts, co-investments, management company arrangements and carried interest structures and incentivization plans. He also represents investors seeking primary and secondary investments in private investment funds.
