

Karen Lorang is a partner in the Real Estate Department in Willkie’s Los Angeles office. Her practice is focused on representing investors and developers in connection with complex real estate developments. Her transactional practice includes purchase and sale, finance, leasing, land use and environmental issues. She also advises clients in connection with large-scale, complex development projects. Among her other accolades, Karen is ranked as an Up and Coming practitioner in the Southern California: Real Estate category by Chambers USA (2023), where she is cited as, “very easy to work with and collaborative.”
Experience
Prior to joining Willkie in 2022, Karen was a partner at Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP. She also previously served as a law clerk on the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in Fairbanks, Alaska. Prior to becoming an attorney, she worked as a legal analyst in the Merchant Banking Division at Goldman Sachs.

Karen is a member of the Board of Directors of the Los Angeles Center for Law and Justice, a nonprofit which secures justice for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault and empowers them to create their own future.
