On April 29 at 2:15 pm (PT), partner Karen Lorang will moderate the panel titled “Legal Intelligence: AI’s Disruption of the Status Quo” as part of the USC Gould School of Law 2026 Real Estate Law and Business Forum, hosted in Los Angeles, California. Karen is also a member of the forum’s planning committee alongside West Coast Chair of Willkie’s Real Estate Department Misty Sanford and associate Andrés Cantero Jr.

The panel will explore the evolving use of artificial intelligence (AI) by real estate attorneys and their clients, including its impact on real estate transactions. The panelists will discuss how AI tools are being implemented in legal departments and firms, how those tools are being used by real state lawyers and business professionals, the effects of AI on how firms and clients are hiring and training personnel, and the evolving expectations of clients with respect to AI use by their counsel.
