John L. Brennan is a partner in the Litigation Department. He focuses primarily on the representation of corporations and financial institutions in complex commercial litigation and enforcement actions, including contract disputes, securities class actions, shareholder derivative litigation, bankruptcy litigation, and employment disputes. John also regularly counsels corporations and their boards of directors concerning corporate governance, litigation risks, and confidential internal investigations. In a recent international arbitration over a high-stakes dispute between technology companies, the client remarked to the Global Arbitration Review that John “conducted one of the best cross-examinations of a technical expert we have seen.”
John maintains an active pro bono practice, regularly assisting clients in immigration, family court, and housing matters. He is a member of the board of directors of Mobilization for Justice and of the Notre Dame Lawyers of New York City.
