Willkie advised the underwriters in a registered public offering of $1,200,000,000 4.600% Notes due 2029, $900,000,000 4.800% Notes due 2031, $1,500,000,000 5.150% Notes due 2033, and $1,400,000,000 5.350% Notes due 2036 of Ecolab Inc. (NYSE: ECL), a global sustainability leader offering water, hygiene and infection prevention solutions and services.
Ecolab announced that it intends to use a portion of the net proceeds from the offering to fund its $4.75 billion acquisition of CoolIT Systems, a leader in liquid cooling technology for AI data centers.
