Willkie is representing CVC Capital Partners in the sale of 37% of its stake in Syntegon, a leading technology company and strategic partner to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and food industries, to an investor group led by Apollo-managed funds.
CVC recently announced that an Apollo-led investor group is acquiring a 37% minority stake in Syntegon, with CVC retaining its majority stake with the remaining 63% of shares. The partnership is expected to accelerate Syntegon’s next growth phase including its expansion in the North American market.
Willkie previously advised CVC on its acquisition of Syntegon in 2020.
Syntegon, headquartered in Stuttgart, provides in-depth process expertise and mission-critical technologies to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors for the production of essential medicines, as well as high-speed, high-precision packaging solutions for the food sector.
