Willkie advised The Chernin Group (TCG) on its minority investment in Entangled Publishing, a leading independent publisher of romance-fantasy books including the bestselling Fourth Wing series.
On December 10, Entangled Publishing announced its strategic partnership with TCG. The minority investment accelerates Entangled’s evolution into a diversified media platform, leveraging TCG’s expertise in content, community, consumer products, gaming, live events, and franchise development.
Founded by Peter Chernin, Jesse Jacobs, and Mike Kerns, TCG is a multi-stage investment firm dedicated to building enduring consumer businesses.
The Willkie team was led by partner Joe Kaczorowski and counsel Noah Goodman with associates Justin Calabrese, Charles Hancock and Kalyn Adiekweh.
