Willkie represented Aditya Birla Chemicals USA, a company being a part of the Aditya Birla Group, a leading Indian multinational conglomerate, in the acquisition of Cargill Incorporated’s specialty chemical manufacturing facility in Dalton, Georgia.

 

On June 4, Aditya Birla Chemicals USA announced the acquisition of Cargill’s 17-acre chemical plant, which manufactures formulated resins, curing agents, reactive diluents and polyaspartic resins for the marine, industrial coatings and flooring industries. The transaction represents Aditya Birla’s strategic entry into the U.S. chemicals industry and expands its U.S. Advanced Materials business.
