Willkie advised Cresta in its investment in carbon capture and storage specialist Lapis Energy.
Willkie client Cresta Fund Management has announced an agreement for Cresta to fund Lapis Energy LP’s origination, development and implementation of carbon capture and storage and clean hydrogen projects that enable industrial de-carbonisation.
Lapis Energy provides project development and consulting services regarding carbon capture and sequestration in support of renewable energy innovation and energy transition strategy. Cresta partnered with executives from BluEnergy Limited and Viridis Resources LLC to form the management team that will lead Lapis Energy. Cresta will use Lapis Energy to build upon its diverse portfolio of companies with sustainable business plans.
Cresta provides growth equity for sustainable and conventional energy, industrial and agricultural infrastructure.
