Jose F. (Joe) Laurel is a partner in the Corporate & Financial Services Department and Private Equity Practice Group. Joe represents private equity funds, venture capital funds and corporate strategics in the finance, technology, energy and infrastructure sectors, primarily focusing on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt investments and other complex corporate transactions.
Prior to joining Willkie, Joe served as a law clerk to the United States Senate (Judiciary Committee), United States Department of Energy (Office of Fossil Energy) and the United States Commodities Futures Trading Commission (Division of Enforcement).
