Willkie represents New Mountain Capital LLC, a New York-based investment firm, in its acquisition of Sparta Systems, Inc., a global leader in quality management system software, from Thoma Bravo, LLC.

On July 17, it was announced that Willkie client New Mountain Capital LLC, a New York-based investment firm with over $19 billion in aggregate capital commitments, had signed an agreement to acquire Sparta Systems, Inc., a global leader in quality management system (QMS) software, from Thoma Bravo, LLC, a leading private equity investment firm that will retain a minority stake in the company. Financial details were not disclosed. The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of 2017, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.
