Beau Stapleton, a partner in the Entertainment Transactions practice, has been named to The Hollywood Reporter’s 2026 Music Power Lawyers.

For the second year in a row, Beau has been recognized as a Music Power Lawyer by The Hollywood Reporter for his work representing major artists, studios, publishers, composers, and investors in complex transactions. The profile highlighted his role representing Wolf Cousins as U.S. counsel in the sale of publishing rights for their catalog, which includes hits such as Taylor Swift’s “Style,” to HarbourView. It also noted his role representing 101 Studios in connection with its CBS primetime music competition series The Road and the launch of its label, Country Roads Records.

“The question is whether young artists will still have the economic freedom to become great,” Beau shared when asked about the music industry’s future. "The business is built to monetize established catalogs. We need to be equally serious about letting emerging artists experiment, fail and spend years finding their voice before the economics have to 'work.'”
