Willkie has been recognized by Texas Lawyer as one of the fastest-growing firms in Texas by headcount as part of its annual survey of the 100 leading firms in the state.
Willkie was spotlighted for growing by more than 32% in Texas in 2025, placing it among the top three out-of-state firms with the greatest growth rate. The survey highlights the success of Willkie’s Dallas and Houston offices, along with the Firm’s market-leading capabilities in key industries including private equity and energy. Both offices have attracted high-profile laterals in recent years and promoted extensively from within during this notable phase of growth.
The sustained growth of Willkie’s Dallas office is a significant contributor to Willkie’s success. The Dallas office, led by managing partner Holt Foster, has steadily expanded across core practice areas including private equity, M&A, real estate, and energy. It has also built out its physical presence, moving into a state-of-the-art space at The QUAD in September 2025 and recently adding a second floor to accommodate Willkie’s continued expansion.
Willkie’s Houston office, led by managing partner Archie Fallon, has also played a key role in the success of the Firm’s Texas platform. It has built leading corporate, private equity, M&A, finance, corporate governance, and restructuring practices and is home to Willkie’s premier energy & infrastructure practice.
