Willkie partners Steve Hurdle and Andrew Kramer have been recognized among the entertainment industry’s top dealmakers in Los Angeles Business Journal’s Leaders of Influence: M&A 2026. 

They were profiled among the professionals across the L.A. market that LABJ honored for “exceptional leadership, knowledge, skill and achievements across the full spectrum of M&A and fiscal guidance.”

Steve Hurdle, a partner in the Corporate & Financial Services Department and the Entertainment Transactions Practice, advises investors and companies on mergers and acquisitions, strategic relationships and joint ventures, and equity offerings at all stages. LABJ noted that he has extensive experience advising entertainment industry leaders, including celebrities, entertainment companies and sources of capital, in business formation, fundraising, investing, and business combination transactions.

Andrew Kramer is Chair of Willkie’s Motion Picture, Television and Entertainment Finance practice group. With over 30 years of experience working with leading global motion picture, television, and content-based companies, Andrew excels in transactional matters for domestic and international production and distribution companies, financiers, and private and institutional lenders. LABJ highlighted his leadership in structuring complex transactions for film, television, and digital media, including financing and distribution transactions, library and catalog acquisitions, and licensing deals. It also noted his work advising intellectual property, AI and other content-based companies on cutting-edge transactions.
