Willkie has again been recognized among the leading international firms in the 2026 edition of Legal 500 Latin America, an annual guide to the top law firms in the Latin America market.

Willkie was again ranked in the Corporate and M&A category and noted for excelling in private equity deals and strategic M&A transactions. The guide highlighted Willkie’s work as U.S. counsel to Telefônica Cloud e Tecnologia do Brasil, a subsidiary of Telefonica Brasil, in its acquisition of IPNET, as well as its representation of CMA CGM Group in its acquisition of an approximate 48% stake in Santos Brasil Participações S/A, the leading terminal operator in Brazil, for more than $1 billion. Legal 500 also noted Willkie’s prominent restructuring work in the region.

Willkie was also recognized in the Projects and Energy category for its experience advising on acquisitions, investments and joint ventures relating to Latin America energy and infrastructure companies and assets. In addition, the guide noted Willkie’s project finance work in Latin America.

Legal 500 highlighted Anna Martini G. Pereira, Chair of Willkie’s Latin America Practice Group, and Jorge Kamine, Co-Chair of the Project Finance & Investment Practice Group, as leading dealmakers in the market.
