Willkie partners Koren (Kori) Bell and Alex Weingarten have been named to the “Leaders of Influence: Litigators & Trial Attorneys 2025” by the Los Angeles Business Journal.
For the third year in a row, Kori and Alex were profiled in a special supplement recognizing the top litigation advisors in the Los Angeles market. The publication noted their work in complex commercial litigation disputes on behalf of prominent clients across a wide range of industries.
Kori Bell, a member of Willkie’s White-Collar Defense, Strategic Motions & Appeals, and Investigations & Enforcement Practices, is a nationally recognized litigator and former Federal Defender. LABJ emphasized her experience as lead counsel in high-stakes trials across the country and her handling of sensitive matters for companies and individuals.
Alex Weingarten is Managing Partner of Willkie’s Los Angeles office and Chair of the firm’s Entertainment Litigation Practice. LABJ noted his role in launching the firm’s Los Angeles office in 2021 and growing the team from just three attorneys to 100 today. The publication also highlighted the Los Angeles Office Foundation’s partnership with Vista Del Mar Child and Family Services, which was spearheaded under Alex’s leadership in 2024.
