Willkie partners Anna Martini G. Pereira and Jorge Kamine have been named among “Latin America’s Top 100 Lawyers” of 2025 by Latinvex. The annual series recognizes the leading international lawyers at the forefront of the legal industry in Latin America.
Anna, Chair of Willkie’s Latin America Practice Group, advises U.S. and international companies and private equity clients in mergers and acquisitions and complex cross-border transactions. She is recognized among the top dealmakers in the Latin America market. Anna’s recent highlights include advising CMA CGM Group on acquisition of a more than $1 billion stake in Santos Brasil Participações S/A, the leading terminal operator in Brazil. She also represented Ferrara Candy Company on its acquisition of Dori Alimentos, a leading Brazilian sweets and snacks company. Anna has also been recognized numerous times by Latinvex as one of the leading women lawyers in Latin America.
Jorge, Co-Chair of the Project Finance & Investment Practice Group and a member of the Latin America Practice Group, was again recognized as one of the leading lawyers in the energy and infrastructure sectors. He has represented Odinsa S.A. in the formation of a major transportation infrastructure partnership with Macquarie Asset Management that includes an airport infrastructure investment platform and a toll road platform. Jorge also advised STOA in its acquisition of a minority stake in Linha Uni, the project company carrying out the multibillion-dollar São Paulo Metro Line 6 concession contract.
