Willkie has been recognized for its role advising Odinsa S.A. in the formation of a major transportation infrastructure partnership with Macquarie Asset Management, which has been shortlisted for “Deal of the Year: M&A” at The Legal 500 Colombia Awards 2024.
Willkie represented Odinsa, a major developer of transportation projects in South America, in its sale of a 50% stake in certain of its toll road assets in Colombia to a Macquarie Asset Management (MAM) fund and the formation of a new infrastructure platform.
The transportation infrastructure partnership is one of the largest in Latin America. Following the success of the toll road assets deal in 2022, Willkie also represented Odinsa in the expansion of the partnership with MAM into the airport sector in Colombia and Ecuador.
The Willkie team advising Odinsa in the sale a 50% stake in certain of its toll road assets in Colombia and the formation of the infrastructure platform was led by partners Maria-Leticia Ossa Daza and Jorge Kamine.
The award winners will be recognized at The Legal 500 Colombia Awards 2024 in Bogota on January 25.
