Chair of Willkie’s Entertainment Transactions Practice recognized as one of the entertainment industry’s 100 most influential attorneys.
Alan Epstein, Chair of Willkie’s Entertainment Transactions Practice, has been named among The Hollywood Reporter’s “2022 Power Lawyers.”
The 16th annual series recognized the 100 most influential attorneys in the entertainment industry. The honorees were profiled for guiding Hollywood’s major transactions, high-stakes disputes and cutting-edge innovations.
The publication highlighted Alan’s representation of Ryan Reynolds’ creative marketing agency, Maximum Effort Marketing, in its sale to performance television platform Mountain Digital. It also noted his success advising Spyglass Media Group in connection with the sale of over 200 feature film titles to Lionsgate and the creation of a strategic content partnership.
The profile noted Alan’s work on the front lines of the entertainment industry during a time of rapid evolution.

Alan is widely recognized as one of the top dealmakers for the entertainment and media industry. This is the fourth year he has been named one of The Hollywood Reporter’s Power Lawyers. His recent accolades include being named to Variety’s “2021 Dealmakers Impact Report” for his accomplishments in launching Willkie’s Los Angeles office and leading game-changing deals.
