Willkie advised Carrix, Inc. on the sale of a majority stake in Tideworks Technology Inc., a full-service provider of terminal operating system solutions for marine and intermodal rail terminal operations worldwide, to Diversis Capital LLC.
Diversis Capital recently announced that it acquired majority ownership of Tideworks Technology from Carrix, a leading marine and intermodal terminal operator. Founded in 1999 as the technology division of Carrix, Tideworks Technology has grown into a global software brand with deep expertise in cargo transportation operations.
Headquartered in Seattle, Washington, Carrix is one of the world's leading independent marine and intermodal terminal operators, with operations across the United States, Canada, Mexico, Central America, South America, and Vietnam.
The Willkie team was led by partners Jared Fertman and Heather Weigel and included partner Russell Leaf and associates Andrew Lefkowitz and Jayla Simmons.
