Willkie represented Wonderloom Media and its founder Ed Simpson on the launch of the new media platform with Content Partners and its acquisition of Dr. Insanity, a popular YouTube channel.
The new company is focused on acquiring and scaling high-potential YouTube-native and creator-led content businesses, and has completed its first acquisition – Dr. Insanity, one of YouTube's largest true crime channels.
Media executive Ed Simpson, formerly Chief Strategy Officer of Wheelhouse, will serve as CEO of Wonderloom Media, combining Content Partners' media investment expertise with Simpson's operating experience.
The Willkie team was led by partners Steve Hurdle and Tilda Cho and included associates David Lee and Daniel Brower.
