Willkie represented Karman Space & Defense (NYSE: KRMN), a leading concept-to-production solutions provider for the space and defense industry, in its acquisition of Seemann Composites, LLC and Materials Sciences LLC (MSC).
Karman Space & Defense recently announced that it agreed to acquire Seemann Composites and MSC for approximately $220 million. The two companies’ are leaders in specialty maritime defense technologies and provide core technologies for submarines and related amphibious platforms including sonar, acoustic and signal mitigation solutions; subsea and surface propulsion systems; and missile and amphibious strategic launch products.
Willkie previously represented Karman Space & Defense in numerous transactions, including its recent acquisitions of Five Axis Industries, Industrial Solid Propulsions and Metal Technology Inc., as well its initial public offering in 2025.
