Willkie recently advised the underwriters in an SEC-registered public offering of $350,000,000 7.000% Fixed-to-Floating Rate Subordinated Notes due 2035 of SouthState Corporation (NYSE: SSB), the parent company of SouthState Bank, one of the largest banks serving the Southeastern United States.
