Willkie represented Insight Partners in the transaction, which values Qonto at €4.4 billion, one of the largest investment rounds in the French tech ecosystem.

On January 11, Qonto, a France-based online bank for businesses, announced a €486 million Series D funding round jointly led by new investors Tiger Global and TCV, with participation from Insight Partners, Alkeon, Eurazeo, KKR, Exor Seeds, Guillaume Pousaz, Gaingels, Ashley Flucas and existing shareholders Valar, Alven, DST Global and Tencent.

The fintech company plans to use the investment to grow its team from 500 employees to 2,000 people by 2025. Qonto will also invest heavily in its existing markets.
