Willkie represented long-time client Aquiline Capital Partners and Togetherwork in the transaction.

Togetherwork, an emerging leader in group management software and payments, announced that private investment firm GI Partners acquired Togetherwork from Willkie-client Aquiline Capital Partners, a New York-based private equity firm investing in financial services and technology. Togetherwork was originally launched by Aquiline as a platform to acquire, integrate and scale leading businesses developing software used to manage and enable payments for groups and organizations.

Togetherwork is an emerging leader in software and payments for groups and organizations including fraternal organizations, religious congregations, sports leagues, summer camps, charities, and cultural and educational institutions. Togetherwork, which employs more than 300 employees, has a family of entrepreneurial companies that provide SaaS solutions to groups and organizations.

The Willkie deal team was led by partner Jeffrey Poss and included partners Robert Rizzo, Jeffrey Goldfarb, Christopher Peters, Mark Holdsworth and Spencer Simon; and associates Thomas Sharkey and Caroline Dreyspool.
