Waterland held the stake since 2009, contributing significantly to the company's success as a leading European river cruise operator.
Waterland announced the sale of its interest in the A-ROSA river cruise group to British private equity group Duke Street. Duke Street is acquiring all the shares in German-based A-ROSA, recognized as the industry leader for premium European river cruises.
Netherlands-based Waterland acquired a majority share in the leading German river cruise provider in 2009, and has since contributed significantly to the company's growth. A-ROSA is known as one of the most successful river cruise operators in the German source market.
