Motus Integrated Technologies, an affiliate of Atlas Holdings LLC, completes acquisition of the headliner and sun visor business of Johnson Controls, Inc. in North America and Europe.

On June 2, it was announced that Willkie client Motus Integrated Technologies, an affiliate of Atlas Holdings LLC, completed its acquisition of the headliner and sun visor business of Johnson Controls, Inc. in North America and Europe.

Holland, Michigan-based Motus, with 2,000 employees, is a privately held Tier 1 supplier of automotive interior products to the world’s automakers. The company is focused on establishing itself as a premier, global interiors supplier providing best-in-class quality, service and innovation to global OEMs.

With more than 12,000 employees at more than one hundred facilities worldwide, Atlas Holdings is an industrial holding company headquartered in Greenwich, Connecticut. Atlas operates in a number of industrial sectors, including automotive, building materials, capital equipment, energy, industrial services, packaging, pulp, paper, tissue, steel and logistics, among others.

The deal was handled by a cross-border, multidisciplinary Willkie team led by partner A.
