Willkie’s Intellectual Property Department has once again been recognized as a market leader in the 2026 edition of the IAM Patent 1000, an annual guide to the top patent firms and practitioners around the world.
"Willkie Farr & Gallagher is distinguished for its ability to handle patent disputes that sit at the intersection of high-stakes litigation, antitrust exposure and complex commercial strategy," IAM Patent 1000 noted.
The 2026 guide highlighted the Chicago office as a leader in patent litigation, recognized for advising multinational companies on matters carrying significant regulatory, reputational or market consequences.
In addition, IAM recognized four Willkie partners among the top patent litigators in their respective jurisdictions:
- Craig C. Martin, Chairman, Americas, partner in the Litigation Department, and member of the Executive Committee
- Sara Tonnies Horton, Co-Chair of the IP Litigation Practice Group
- Krista Schwartz, Co-Chair of the IP Litigation Practice Group
