Willkie has again been recognized in Chicago Lawyer's 2026 Largest Law Firms Survey, highlighting the Firm's continued growth as a market leader in Chicago.
Willkie continued its climb on this year's Chicago Top 100 list based on attorney headcount. The Firm ranked #27 and has grown to a multidisciplinary team of 130 lawyers since Craig C. Martin, Chairman, Americas, launched the office in 2020 with five other partners. Chicago Lawyer highlighted Willkie’s ongoing growth, noting that it has expanded roughly 128% since 2022, and 19% in the past year alone, with the addition of 20 attorneys including restructuring partners Ryan Bennett, who also serves as Chair of Willkie’s Restructuring Group, and Jeffrey Michalik.
