Britt Mosman, Vice-Chair of the Firm’s Global Trade & Investment Practice Group in Washington, has been named to Foreign Investment Watch’s Top Advisors 2023. The annual list recognizes leading global CFIUS (Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States) advisors on foreign investment and national security matters in the U.S. and abroad. Britt is among 30 legal, financial, compliance and communications professionals at the forefront of the industry honored for their work.

Britt is recognized for her work advising global financial institutions and leading multinational companies on economic sanctions, compliance and enforcement matters related to CFIUS, the Bank Secrecy Act, anti-money laundering, and export controls. She has significant experience advising crypto sector participants on how to comply with BSA/AML and economic sanctions requirements, and has been involved in several high-profile, high-stakes enforcement proceedings. Britt previously served as an Attorney-Advisor in the Office of the Chief Counsel, advising the Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control. While at OFAC, Britt focused on economic sanctions and national security issues, including as a lead attorney on the Iran, Ukraine/Russia, Cuba, Syria, Election Interference, and cyber-related sanctions programs.
