Legal 500 describes Willkie as “a growing force in Latin America deals, especially in energy and infrastructure, insurance and technology transactions.” The editorial underscores the close collaboration between Willkie’s New York, Washington and Paris offices in servicing clients with interests in Latin America, and notes the firm’s consistent work in Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Panama and Peru, among other jurisdictions in the region.

For Projects and Energy, Willkie is noted for “building a strong standing in the energy space in Latin America.”

Willkie’s Latin America practice head Maria-Leticia Ossa Daza is noted for her extensive record and excellent relationships in the region, and partner Jorge Kamine is highlighted for energy and infrastructure M&A, including transactions involving metro projects, renewable energy and LNG.

The profile also includes testimonials praising Willkie’s “excellent team” for its in-depth “knowledge of the market, and “pragmatic advice.”
