The Deal recognized exemplary women in the legal profession with a focus on M&A, private equity, restructuring and activist investing in this year's Top Women in Dealmaking list.

Partner Rosalind Fahey Kruse was named among the Top Women in Dealmaking by The Deal, honoring women lawyers who have displayed excellence in the world of dealmaking but also in mentorship, advancing gender diversity and thought leadership. The peer-nominated list identified women partners who have displayed excellence in their respective legal fields across the dealmaking world, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, restructuring and activist investing.

Ms. Kruse has a 20+ year track record of leading multibillion-dollar M&A transactions and advising private equity firms and their portfolio companies, while also increasing the presence and power of women at the firm and her broader community. As a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and Compensation Committee, a member of numerous other firm committees for decades, and a partner in the Corporate & Financial Services Department, she has been at the forefront of Willkie’s efforts to hire, retain and promote women and has been actively involved in these initiatives on an almost daily basis.

According to The Deal, the honorees “have shown the ability to navigate complex transactions, maintain strong client relationships and/or lead in and out of the boardroom.” To view The Deal’s 2021 Top Women in Dealmaking list, click here.
