The firm and several attorneys individually will be recognized for outstanding pro bono contributions in 2019.
On October 28, the Legal Aid Society will present Willkie once again with several Pro Bono Publico Awards recognizing exceptional service to the Society and its clients. In addition to honoring the firm for overall service, the following attorneys will also be recognized individually for their contributions: partners Mary Eaton and Wesley Powell; senior counsel Bart Schwartz; counsel Conrad Bahlke; and associates Timothy Fleming, M. Annie Houghton-Larsen, Alina Mian, and Joseph Schemo.
Every year, the Society recognizes the “outstanding work of volunteer lawyers, law firms, corporations and other professionals who participate in the Society’s Pro Bono Program by providing exceptional services to low-income New Yorkers.
