A team of Willkie lawyers has authored the U.S. chapter of the 2023 edition of The Legal 500: Renewable Energy Country Comparative Guide, a publication providing an overview of the law and practice of renewable energy across jurisdictions worldwide.

In addition to summarizing relevant renewable energy legislation and regulations in the United States, the extensive Q&A article discusses the state of play in the renewables industry, including carbon reduction targets, business and legal developments and marketplace dynamics.

The chapter was authored by Co-Chair of the Project Finance & Investment Practice Group Jorge Kamine, Chair of the Energy Regulatory & Enforcement Practice Group and Co-Chair of the Energy & Commodities Practice Group Norman C. Bay, visiting foreign law clerk Juanita Fonseca Duffo and associate Jake Maguire. Partner Robert Jacobson also contributed to the chapter.
