Taaj M. Reaves is an associate in the Intellectual Property Department. Her practice focuses on intellectual property matters involving the sale and licensing of trademarks and copyrights (including media content), software, and patents. She has experience with intellectual property related issues arising in complex transactions including mergers and acquisitions and bankruptcy-related acquisitions, and has counseled clients on trademark strategy, including prosecution, enforcement and licensing.
Taaj received her J.D. from New York University School of Law, where she was the President of the NYU Student Bar Association. In recognition of her exceptional leadership, Taaj received the Dean John Sexton Convocation Award, one of the law school's highest honors for student leadership. She was also the recipient of the NYU President's Service Award, presented to students who demonstrate outstanding service to the broader NYU community.
