Katy Kim is a partner in Willkie’s Asset Management Department. She is based in the Firm’s New York office.
Katy focuses her practice on the formation, structuring, marketing, management and regulatory compliance of investment funds. She counsels private fund sponsors on legal and governance matters, internal economic arrangements and strategic and operational matters, including co-investment arrangements, alternative investment vehicle structures and product line expansion. Katy has also advised private equity sponsors on preferred equity transactions and seeding arrangements. Her practice includes representing well-established sponsors in notable global fundraisings, as well as early-stage sponsors in the establishment of their operations and capital raising.
