New York, NY (June 1, 2026) --- Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP announced today that private funds lawyer Katy Kim has joined the Firm as a partner in the Asset Management Department. She is based in New York.

Katy has advised sponsors of private investment funds on a broad range of fund formation and governance matters, internal economic arrangements, and strategic and operational matters, including fund financing and preferred equity transactions, seeding arrangements and other capital solution structures. She joins a team of 30 partners in Willkie’s Private Funds practice group dedicated to private fund formation and investments across the Firm’s offices in New York, Washington D.C., Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston, London, Paris and Frankfurt. Katy joins from Fried Frank.
