Henning Aufderhaar is counsel in the Real Estate Department of the Frankfurt office. He focuses on the representation of investors and developers regarding real estate transactions (single assets, portfolios, asset and share deals, unit deals) including forward deals, sale-and-leaseback transactions and joint venture structures. His practice further focuses on commercial lease agreements, commercial project developments and asset and property management agreements. Prior to joining Willkie in 2022, Henning was counsel at King & Spalding and Clifford Chance.

Henning has constantly been recommended as a lawyer for Real Estate in JUVE Handbook 2017-2022 and in Legal 500 Germany 2017-2019 and was listed as a “Name of the next generation in Real Estate” in Legal 500 Germany 2017 and 2018.

Henning is fluent in German and English.

Experience

Prior to joining Willkie in 2022, Henning was counsel at King & Spalding and Clifford Chance. He started his career as an associate at Morgan Lewis & Bockius. In 2011/2012, he was seconded for 10 months to Morgan Stanley Real Estate Investment GmbH.
