Willkie advised long-standing client Freshstream Investment Partners LLP on its investment in Portman Finance Group, a leading finance distribution platform helping SME businesses access a wide range of commercial funding solutions.
On October 26, Freshstream announced that it agreed to invest in Portman Finance Group and will partner with the management team to support its next stage of growth. Founded in 2007, Portman has built a scaled platform serving businesses across the UK. It connects SMEs with funding solutions through a panel of more than 45 lending partners alongside its own lending activities.
The Willkie team was led by partners Claire McDaid and Ashley Young and included associates Nicola White, Chloe Szczerbiak and Isabel Hazelton.
