Willkie is representing Insight Partners and its portfolio company DistroKid, the world's leading music distributor, in connection with CVC Capital Partners' majority investment in DistroKid.
DistroKid recently announced that CVC Capital Partners signed a definitive agreement to make a majority investment in DistroKid via CVC Capital Partners IX. Insight Partners will retain a significant minority stake. The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of this year, subject to customary closing conditions.
Willkie previously advised Insight Partners on its investment in DistroKid in 2021.
