Willkie represented XGS Energy, a developer of next-generation geothermal power systems, in its partnership with Baker Hughes, an energy technology company, to develop a 150-megawatt geothermal project in New Mexico.
XGS and Baker Hughes recently announced a strategic collaboration and initial order for Baker Hughes engineering services to advance XGS’s planned geothermal project in New Mexico. The project, once developed, will support the delivery of clean, round-the-clock power to the Public Service Company of New Mexico’s grid in support of Meta’s data center operations in the state.
