Willkie advised Prismic Life Holding Company, LP on its $1.3 billion capital raise from a consortium of investors. Prismic is a global reinsurance platform sponsored by Prudential Financial, Inc. and Warburg Pincus, global leaders in insurance and investment management.
On November 18, Prismic announced the successful completion of its capital raise, which will provide additional capacity for Prismic to grow its reinsurance platform. Previously, Prismic raised over $1.5 billion in capital to support the reinsurance of approximately $17 billion of U.S. and Japanese liabilities.
The Willkie team was led by partners David Luce, Thomas Mark and Amanda M. Burke and associate Gongjin (Chloe) Wang.
