Willkie is advising Visma, a leading provider of mission-critical business software across Europe and Latin America, on its acquisition of Conta Azul, a fast-growing cloud ERP financial management system tailored for small businesses and accounting offices. The transaction marks Visma’s entry into the Brazilian market. Through the acquisition, Visma expands its footprint in Latin America with existing operations in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru – underscoring its commitment to supporting the expansion of innovative cloud-based solutions across the region.

Serving approximately 100,000 small and medium-sized businesses, Conta Azul is recognized as one of the leading players in Brazil’s large, fragmented, and structurally growing market, with a strong brand and reputation.
