Willkie advised Sedna, a leading intelligent communication platform for global trade and complex logistics, on its acquisition of Dataloy Systems, a trusted leader in Voyage Management Software. The move represents a major step forward in Sedna's mission to unify communication, execution, and intelligence across the maritime ecosystem.
Founded in 2017, Sedna is backed by Insight Partners, GK Goh Ventures, Stride.VC, Chalfen Ventures, and SAP’s IO Fund. Based in Norway, Dataloy brings mission-critical maritime trading, operations, and distance data services to more than 500 customers worldwide.
The deal was led by partner Philip Coletto with assistance from associates Nicola White and Sophie Surtees.
