Willkie represented DRW Energy Trading LLC, which operates as part of global trading firm DRW Holdings LLC, in a strategic equity investment in Catalyst Power Parent LLC, an independent integrated provider of retail energy and cleaner energy solutions for the commercial and industrial sector.
The investment, is expected to support Catalyst Power's continued expansion in the energy solutions sector. Its suite of solutions includes customized Connected Microgrid solutions, solar, energy storage, CHP, and more.
Global trading firm DRW operates across diverse markets and asset classes, and DRW Energy Trading, the firm's energy commodities marketing, logistics, and trading division, focuses on North American Power, Gas, and Emissions markets.
The Willkie team was led by partners Archie Fallon and Tan Lu and counsel Jason Nasra, with assistance from partners Norman Bay and Robert Jacobson, and associates Leiying Peng, Niko Letsos, and Matthew Goldberg.
