Willkie advised Investec Bank plc as lender on the acquisition financing.

On April 12, international private equity firm Bregal Investments announced that funds advised by Bregal Unternehmerkapital, its unit focused on investments in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Northern Italy, agreed to acquire a majority stake in SEMA GmbH.

Willkie advised Investec Bank plc as lender on the financing of the acquisition.

SEMA is a leading provider of software solutions and supplementary services in the timber construction industry, in stairwells and for the sheet fabricating business.

Willkie previously advised Investec Bank plc in connection with financing for the acquisition of a majority stake in Theobald Software GmbH by funds advised by Bregal Unternehmerkapital.

Investec partners with private, institutional, and corporate clients, offering international banking, investment, and wealth management services in two principal markets, South Africa and the UK, as well as certain other countries.
