On February 7, Resideo Technologies, Inc., a global provider of home comfort and security solutions and distributor of commercial and residential security and audio-visual products, announced that it entered into a definitive agreement to acquire First Alert, Inc., a leading provider of home safety products, from Newell Brands Inc. for $593 million.
First Alert is a leader in the home safety market with a strong omni-channel presence serving end users directly through retail and e-commerce channels and professional contractors through relationships with distributors and homebuilders.
Resideo is a leading global manufacturer and distributor of technology-driven products and solutions that provide comfort, security, energy efficiency and control to customers worldwide.
The Willkie team was led by partners Russell Leaf and Jonathan Kubek and included partners Victor Okasmaa, Christopher Peters, Geri Anne McEvoy and Eugene Chang.
